Gordon Dudley

Gordon Dudley, 50, of Thompson's Trailer Court, Morrisonville, died suddenly at his home late Sunday evening. He was born in Saranac Lake, Feb. 16, 1917, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Dudley.

He is survived by his wife, the former Louise Rule.

Dudley was a veteran, of World War II and a member of Saranac lake Lodge of Elks, 1508.

The body rested at Brown's Funeral Home, Plattsburgh.

Funeral services were held from the funeral home Thursday afternoon at two o'clock. The Rev. Richard Janke, rector of Trinity Episcopal Church, officiated.

Burial was in the family plot in the Pine Ridge Cemetery in Saranac Lake. Elks held ritualistic services at the funeral home Tuesday evening.

Mr. Dudley was in charge of produce at the Keeseville A. & P. Super Market. He had made many friends here during his service at that store. He had been employed by the A. & P. Company for 26 years and held a fine record of service.

All employees of the Keeseville Store went to the funeral home to pay their respects and sorrow Tuesday evening.
