Mrs. Grace Baker, 74, Dies at Gabriels
Mrs. Grace Baker passed away last night at St. Margaret's Nursing home at Gabriels sanatorium.
She was born on June 25, 1884 at Keene, the daughter of Edgar and Phoebe Bomyea Durgan. She was the widow of Freeman J. Baker, who died November 21, 1929, [[footnote( and had made her home at 33 Lake Flower Avenue.
The body is reposing at the Keough Chapel of Memories, where there will be a Rosary service at 8 o'clock tonight. A Funeral Mass will be offered tomorrow morning at 9:30 in St. Bernard's church. Burial will be in Pine Ridge cemetery. Pallbearers will be Horton Duprey, Paul Dupree, Miles VanNortwick, Gordon VanNortwick, Ole Wood and George Dukett.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Selwyn Wood of Saranac, Lake, two brothers, Artie Durgan of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, and Byron of North Battleford, Canada, one grandson, Russell B. Wood of Hudson Falls, and two great-grand children.
