Mrs. G. J. Frederiksen, Henry Larom Marry

Mrs. Grace J. Frederiksen, of 20 Kiwassa rd., this village, and Henry V. Larom, former resident of Saranac Lake, now of Missoula, Mont, were married at 1 o'clock Friday afternoon at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Paul B. Williams, 602 Tracy St., Utica.

Rev. Harold Thomson, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church Little Falls, officiated.

The couple was attended by Mr. Williams and Mrs. Williams, who is a sister-in-law of the bride. Mr. Larom is a professor at Montana State University. The couple are motoring to Missoula where they will make their home.

Grace Larom

SARANAC LAKE — Word has been received of the death of Mrs. Grace Johnson Larom, 72, widow of the late Henry Larom, on Jan. 26 at a nursing home in New Jersey.

A former resident of Saranac Lake, Mrs. Larom was born in Utica. She was educated in the Utica schools and came to Saranac Lake for her health where she met and married the late Steffan M. Frederiksen in the early 1930's.

The couple made their home on Kiwassa Road and at 107 Park Avenue. Mrs. Frederiksen was active in the Art League and as a volunteer at the old General Hospital. Mr. Frederiksen, an accountant and teacher at the Saranac Lake Study and Craft Guild, died in 1949.

Mrs. Frederiksen married Henry Larom, also a former resident, on Dec. 18, 1953, in Utica. The Laroms made their home in Monsey where Mr. Larom served as first dean of Rockland Community College. Mr. Larom died in December 1975.

The body was cremated and there were no services. Surviving are three sisters, Rosalind and Augusta of California, and Mrs. Brendan (Betty Jane) Dowling of East Brunswick, N.J.
