H. Berwind Williams, the engineer at Radio Station WNBZ, died at 11 o'clock last evening at Saranac Lake General Hospital where he had been a patient, since June 13. Mr. Williams was 63 years of age.

He was born Jan. 2, 1903, in Haddonfield, N. J., a son of Harry G. and Clara Klinger Williams and came to Saranac Lake in 1932. He had worked at the radio station since Pearl Harbor Day, Dec. 7, 1941.

Mr. Williams was a member of B.P.O.E. Lodge 1308.

His wife, Lauri Castle Williams, whom he married in Hilltown, Pa. on April 18, 1931, survives. Also surviving are two adopted sons, John Grimes of Ft. Devans, Mass. and Christopher Grimes at the University of Colorado in Boulder; two brothers, T. Edward of Saranac Lake and John E. of Watsontown, Pa.; and two sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Trotman of Haddonfield and Mrs. Virginia Kimble of North Wildwood, N. J.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a. m. Saturday at the Fortune Funeral Home with the Rev. Lawrence F. Selig, pastor of the Presbyterian Church, officiating. Private interment will be at Pine Ridge Cemetery.
