Harold Duso was a World War II veteran.  He was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Duso of Bloomingdale.

ELIZABETHTOWN — Harold F. Duso, 65, Elizabethtown, died Friday, Dec. 28, 1990 at his home.

He was born Sept. 7, 1925, in Altona, the son of Fred and Hazel (Lashway) Duso.

He was a veteran of World War II, a member of the American . Legion Post 551 in Elizabethtown, and a member of the Disabled American Veterans Chapter 179 in Pittsburgh.

He is survived by his mother of Lyons; his wife, Erika (Ransom) Duso of Elizabethtown; one daughter, Mrs. Sharon River, Port Edward; three sons, Bernard, Stephen and Thomas of Elizabethtown; one brother, Floyd Duso of Southwick, Mass.; four sisters—Mrs. Elsie Pratt of Williamson, Mrs. Norma Buck of Hammond, Mrs. Joyce Cheney of Scotia, and Mrs. Joan Deyo of Waldorf, Md.; nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were scheduled for this morning in St. Elizabeth Church in Elizabethtown. Burial will be in Black River Cemetery in the spring.
