Chateaugay Record and Franklin County Democrat, September 22, 1905

John McNulty has been visiting his brother, Henry McNulty of Saranac Lake, during the last week. An interesting feature of the visit is the fact that it is the first time the brothers have met in 44 years. During a greater portion of that time they have not known of each other's whereabouts.

They were residents of Hogansburgh at the outbreak of the civil war, and both enlisted and served until the close of the war. At that time they became separated. John went West and Henry returned to Northern New York and soon after settled [in] Saranac Lake. Recently Henry applied to the Pension Department for information and learned that his brother was living in Indiana. [sic] As a result John arrived in Saranac Lake last week.
