Irene E. Delisle was medical secretary for Dr. John N. Hayes and the late Dr. Lawrason Brown for thirty years. She was a World War II veteran.  She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Delisle of 22 Academy Street.

Irene E. Delisle Dies At Sunmount

Irene E. Delisle of 54 Petrova Avenue died at the Veteran's Hospital at Sunmount yesterday afternoon where she had been a patient for three weeks.

Miss DeLisle was born in Montreal on July 14, 1897, the daughter of the late Nelson P. and Philomena Patnode DeLisle. She was WAC in World War II and was medical secretary for Dr. John N. Hayes and the late Dr. Lawrason Brown for thirty years. Miss Delisle was a member of the Sacred Heart Society and Third Order of St. Francis.

Survivors are a sister, Elizabeth with whom she made her home; and two other sisters, Mrs. Ralph, Hunter of Syracuse and Mrs. Frederick Cronk of Detroit, Mich. She also had several nieces and nephews.

There will be a rosary service at the Keough and Son Funeral Home Friday night at 8 o'clock and a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Bernard's Church. Friends may call it the Keough Chapel between 2 and 4 and from 7 to 10.
