JOS. MCMASTER FUNERAL RITES
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Fortune Funeral Home, Saranac Lake, for Joseph McMaster, who died yesterday at the Morford Nursing Home, Bloomingdale.
Rev. Norman M. Moss will officiate. Interment will be in the family plot, Harrietstown Cemetery.
Mr. McMaster was born on Sept. 10, 1877 in Harrietstown, the son of William and Ellen Wilson McMaster. For many years he was associated with the operation of the McMaster Farm on the Harrietstown rd.
Mr. McMaster was an active member of the Masons. He was a member of Whiteface Mt. Lodge 789 and past high priest of Wanineta Chapter No. 291. He was also a past deputy state master of the Grange and a member of the Brighton and Harrietstown Grange.
Survivors include his widow, Cora Rawlins McMaster, a son, Jack, a daughter, Mrs. Thomas McDonald, of Lake Colby; also two sisters. Mrs. Arthur Leavitt. of Gabriels and Mrs. Anna Johnson, of Toronto, Canada, and two grandchildren.
There will be a Masonic service at 7:30 p.m. tomorrow at the funeral home where the body is reposing.
