The Lake Side Motel was the southernmost of three motels demolished in 2019
to make way for the Saranac Waterfront Lodge. (Google Maps, 2019)
Other information: The Lake Side Motel was built by Frank and Elsie Wehs who came to Saranac Lake in 1944.

In 1963 it was owned by Fred Herbert.

Along with two neighboring motel properties, Lake Flower Inn and the Adirondack Motel this is the proposed site of a controversial ninety room, sixty foot tall hotel that was proposed in 2013.
