Lawrence H. Quigley, Sr. operated a lunch cart on Broadway that became Larry's Lunch in the 1920s and '30s.  In 1925, he lived at 22 McComb Street.

FUNERAL SERVICES FOR L. H. QUIGLEY

Funeral services for Lawrence Henry Quigley, 60, of Saranac Lake, who died at his home Thursday morning, were held Saturday morning at St. Bernard's church in Lyon Mountain. Burial was made in the church cemetery.

Mr. Qulgley had a number of friends in Plattsburgh where he once managed the old American House. He had been custodian of Saranac Lake postoffice for the past eight years, and had been a resident of Saranac Lake for the past 32 years.

In 1912, Mr. Qulgley married Miss Marie Keyes. He was a member of the Knight of Columbus and the Holy Name society. Survivors include his wife; eight daughters, Catherine, Betty, Marie, Ann, Eileen, Barbara and Patricia, all of Saranac Lake; Mrs. Walter Kelly J., of St. Johnsbury, Vt.; four sons, Joseph, Thomas and James, all of Saranac Lake; Lawrence Quigley, Jr., stationed in Alabama; two brothers, Thomas Quigley of Long Island; and Bernard Quigley of Cohoes.
