SARANAC LAKE - Mrs. Lillian O. Kawatch, 87, a resident of Uihlein Mercy Center in Lake Placid,since 1979 and former resident of 46 Church Street, Saranac Lake, died Monday afternoon, March 11, at the General Hospital of Saranac Lake.
She was born March 29, 1897, in Saranac Lake, the daughter of Joseph and Abby (Mace) Pasho.
Her husband, Frank J. Kawatch, predeceased her.
Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Marion Anjima of Saranac Lake; a nephew, Joseph Pasho of Syracuse; and four cousins, Dermot Mace of Crown Point, Mrs. Goldie Klein of Saranac Lake, Donald Mace of Tupper Lake and Ralph Mace of Saranac Lake.
Calling hours will be held at the Fortune Funeral Home Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
The funeral service will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, with the Rev. Harold VanHorn, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church of Saranac Lake officiating. Burial will be in Pine Ridge Cemetery in May.
