Marion Anjima

SARANAC LAKE - Marion Anjima, 84, formerly of 20 Church Street, Saranac Lake, died Wednesday morning, Oct. 8, at the William Mansion Nursing Home in Malone.

She was born Jan. 17, 1902, in Saranac Lake, daughter of Joseph and Abby (Mace) Pasho.

She had been a lifelong resident of the village and had owned and operated the Sunset Heights Tourist Home at 122 Lake Flower Avenue, for 20 years before retiring in 1958.

Survivors include a nephew, Joseph Pasho of Syracuse; four cousins, Ralph Mace and Goldie Klein, both of Saranac Lake, Donald Mace of Tupper Lake and Dermott Mace of Crown Point; and a sister-in-law, Theresa Pasho of Saranac Lake.

Calling hours will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Fortune Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Jean-Ann Swope officiating.

Burial will follow in Pine Ridge Cemetery.
