Born: February 1, 1891, Utica, NY

Died: January 27, 1938, Utica, NY

Mary "Mayme" Hoeschele came to the New York State Hospital at Ray Brook for tuberculosis treatment along with her twin sister, Helen Haley. She died of tuberculosis, an "illness of several years," at home in Utica 1938. A cousin remembered her as always being in her room or out on the front porch swing. Her dates at Ray Brook are unknown, but a newspaper article in August of 1916 mentioned that her mother was visiting her at Ray Brook.

Information provided by her great-niece, Joan Brennan, in 2021.
