Maude Currier
Mrs. Maude Curier, 77, died last evening at her home, 18 Woodruff Street, Saranac Lake.
Mrs. Currier was born May 28, 1891 in Bloomingdale, daughter of David and Lesca Ling Thompson. She was the widow of Willis Currier who had the Currier Funeral Service on Woodruff St. from 1941 until his death on April 8, 1953. She was active in Methodist Church affairs.
Survivors are a sister, Mrs. Mabel Jones and a niece, Mrs. Patricia Ward, both of Saranac Lake.
Friends may call, beginning at 2 p.m. Thursday, at the Fortune Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at the funeral home at 2 p m. Friday with the pastor of the Methodist Church, The Rev. Daniel Partridge, officiating. Interment will be in May in Brookside Cemetery.
