Lillian Vanderveer (sometimes mistakenly written as Vandeveer or Vanderver, later Albrecht), aka "Lillie" was a teacher at the Baldwin School in the early 1900s-1910s. She lived with her mother Charlotte, and at least two brothers, Harold and George, at 53 Dorsey Street for at least a decade. She married Ira Werner Albrecht in 1924, and later became a children's librarian at the Westfield Athenaum in Massachusetts. While working there, she created a doll persona and used it to write books about local history.1
