Monroe Moody is buried in Pine Ridge Cemetery. He was a son of Abram H. Moody and Eloise Bomyea Moody (1887–1934).

Monroe Moody
Monroe Moody, 51, of 6 Edward Street, Saranac Lake, died at 7:30 a. m. today at Saranac Lake General Hospital where he had been a patient since Nov. 11.
Mr. Moody was born Dec. 23, 1911 in Saranac Lake, son of Abram and Eloise Bomyea Moody. He was married on June 12, 1935 in Lake Placid to Eva Pelkey who survives. He was a steelworker with the Flecher Murname Co. of Plattsburgh and a member of the Ironworkers Union 440 Local of Utica.
Other survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Laura Favro of Saranac Lake; a son, Monroe, Jr. of Saranac Lake; seven grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Hazel DuBrey of Madrid, N. Y., Mrs. Marion Brennan of Natural Bridge, and Mrs. Thelma Weir of Bloomingdale; two brothers, Marshall of Saranac Lake and Abram of New Castle, Del,; nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Fortune Funeral Home where a funeral service will be held at 2 p. m., Wednesday.
