Mrs. Oda Otis Dies At Daughter's Home
Mrs. Oda Otis of 64 Main Street, a resident of this area for 60 years, died unexpectedly yesterday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Jean Fisher of Lake Clear.
Mrs. Otis was born March 22, 1886 at Willsboro, the daughter of Frank and Bertha Smith Brown. She worked at both Starks Hardware and the Saranac Inn for many years. Her husband, James W. Otis, died Jan. 1, 1960.
In addition to her daughter, Mrs. Otis is survived by two grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Lula Otis of Utica.
She is reposing at the Fortune Funeral Home where a service will be held on Wednesday at 2 p.m Donald Anderson of the Christian Science Society will officiate. Burial will be in the family plot in Harrietstown Cemetery.
