Chiefly known for: Otakar Barkus, a graduate in chemistry of the University of Prague, Czecho-Slovakia, recently associated with the University of Nebraska, died at Saranac Lake, N. Y., on May 8, 1925, at the age of twenty-seven years. He had published several articles in The American Journal of Physiology.
