"Overlook" Opens Monday
"Overlook", formerly the Mountain View House, situated between Lake Placid and Saranac Lake, opens for business Monday, May 20th. The property, which includes besides the house and outbuildings, one hundred and seventeen acres, was purchased several months ago by C. B. Bridgman, a former resident of Lake Placid.
The building has been thoroughly overhauled and renovated, and a steam heating plant has been installed. The furnishings are new throughout.
Fine verandas surround the house, permitting in or outdoor dining. A tea room will be maintained at this hostelry. Mr. Bridgman plans keeping the hotel open all year, and will cater to both transient and permanent guests.
