Patsy G. Laraio was a World War II veteran. He was a son of Rocco and Angiolina Urgo Laraio.

The funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Keough and Son Memorial Chapels where friends may call from 7 to 10 and 2 to 4 p. m. beginning this evening. An Elks service will be held at 7:30 p. m. Sunday, followed by a VFW service at 7:45 and a Rosary service at 8. A Requiem Funeral Mass will be offered at 10 a. m. Monday at the Methodist Church. Interment will be in St. Bernard's Cemetery.
Mr. Laraio had lived here since he was an infant. He served on an LST with the Navy in the Pacific Theater during World War II. He was a former owner of the Brown Bear Restaurant and before his illness, was associated with the Belvedere Restaurant. He also was a member of the American Legion and St. Bernard's Parish.
He was born in Utica on Feb. 22, 1911, a son of Rocco and Angiolina Urgo Laraio.
Survivors are a sister, Mrs. Joseph DelVecchio; two nieces, Mrs. Joan Kiernan of Elmhurst and Mrs. Mary VanDerVeer of Ramsey, N. J.; one grand-niece and three grandnephews.
