SYRACUSE — Philip R. Rogers, 60, of 311 Merriman Ave. Syracuse died June 21 at Crouse Memorial Hospital following a long illness.
Mr. Rogers, a native of Rainbow Lake, had lived in Syracuse for 13 years. He was a graduate of Canton Agricultural and Technical College and had served in the Marines in World War II. For four years he was employed as an electrical engineer by the Duke Electric Co. Inc. of Liverpool.
Survivors are: his wife, Frances Daviero Rogers; his mother, Mrs. Mary Rogers of Vermontville; three sisters Mrs. Catherine LaMay of Saranac Lake, Mrs. James Wright of Vermontville, and Mrs. Oda Hogan of Troy.
Burial was Monday in Brighton Cemetery in Gabriels.
