Bloomingdale

Mrs. Dorothy L. Williamson and her husband and one of their sons of Amesbury, Mass. stopped in here Wednesday evening and visited with a few people who recalled her grandfather, Dr. Rae L. Strong, who served this area as physician for many years, and also was mayor of the village for several terms.

Her last visit was when she was about ten — remembered the Clarks who lived next door. For those who don't know about Dr. Strong who often went on night calls far out in to the. back woods regardless of weather, he lived in the house now known as McKenty's next to the Methodist Church.
