SARANAC LAKE — A burial service was held May 23 at Pine Ridge Cemetery here for Mrs. Regina R. Shults, a former resident of Saranac Lake, who died March 1 in New Hyde Park, Long Island. Father John Yonkovig led the burial service rites.

Mrs. Shults was born in 1907 in New York City and came to Saranac Lake for her health in the 1920's.

She and her husband, Anthony K. Shults, operated the Shults Cottage on Shepard Avenue, primarily for Dupont Company employees.

While living here she was a member of the Saranac Lake Golf Club and of St. Bernard's Church.

After her husband's death in 1951 she closed the cottage and moved to Wilmington, Del. and worked for Dupont in its opthalmology department. When she retired, she moved to Long Island to live with her sister, Mrs. William (Loretta) Nimmo.

Survivors include her sister, a stepdaughter, Mrs. Allen (Penelope) Coy of Redondo Beach, Calif.; and two grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements here were with the Fortune Funeral Home.
