Miss Patricia Quigley, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Quigley, of 12 Fairview street was married at 9 a.m. this morning at St. Bernard's Church to Robert Eugene Dupree, son of Mrs. Mary Dupree, 2 Merrill street, and the late Syriac Duprey. Father Vernon Doe officiated at the double-ring ceremony.

Robert E. Dupree
SARANAC LAKE - Robert E. Dupree, 71, of Saranac Lake died Wednesday, July 8, 1998 at the Adirondack Medical Center in Saranac Lake.
Born Nov. 8, 1926 in Saranac Lake, he was the son of Syriac and Mary Etta (McGrain) Dupree. He married the former Patricia Quigley on June 27, 1953.
An Army veteran of World War II, he worked with his father and brothers in the Syriac Dupree & Sons construction company for many years.
He later worked for Moreau Fuel for over 20 years and for North Country Community College in the maintenance department for many years, retiring in 1987. Until recently, he worked part time as a custodian' at the North Elba Town House in Saranac Lake. He was a member of the VFW, the Elks Lodge No. 1508 and was a past member of the Knights of Columbus, in addition to being a member of the Saranac Lake Volunteer Fire Department from 1947-1951. He enjoyed golf, hunting and bobsledding.
Survivors include: his wife; five sons, Peter, Paul, Michael, William and Thomas; two daughters, Mrs. Barbara Kristoffersen and Mrs. Amy Hagar, all of Saranac Lake; three sisters: Marie Fogarty and Elizabeth Doyle, both of Saranac Lake and Muriel Anson of Marion, Ohio; 10 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by five brothers: Donald, Paul, Raymond, Bernard and William, and two sisters, Eileen Wood and Leona Dupree.
Calling hours are 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home in Saranac Lake. A veterans service will be held at 8:15 p.m., followed by a Bible Vigil at 8:30 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Bernard's Church with the Rev. Timothy Soucy, the pastor, officiating. Interment will follow in St. Bernard's Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Carmelite Monastery, the Saranac Lake Volunteer Fire Department Rescue Squad or their favorite charity.
