Ronald H. DeLair was an architect with Distin and Wareham. He continued the practice in the same name, even after Arthur Wareham's retirement, and closed the office a few years ago.

And A New Architect, too
Ronald H. DeLair will become an associate in the firm of Distin and Wareham, architects, 64 Main Street, Saranac Lake, as of today.
Mr. DeLair is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Percy DeLair of Stetson Rd., Tupper Lake. A graduate of Tupper Lake schools, he received his bachelor of arcitecture degree from Ronsselaer Polytechnic Institute in 1964.
Following his graduation from R.P.I., Mr. DeLair served two years as a commissioned officer with the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers at Fort Belvoir, Va.
Mr. DeLair has worked for McGaughan and Johnson, architects and planners, in Washington, D.C. During this time his experience included extensive work on the Walter Reed Army Medical Center; preliminary design on a Planned Unit Development for a new town containing 48,500 dwelling units; installation facilities for the Naval Amphibious Base at Norfolk, Va., and Pentagon office expansion for the General Services Administration. Through his association with McGaughan and Johnson he has had close contact with projects in Northern New York state including the proposed public housing for Tupper Lake and the master plan for Saranac Lake.
Mr. DeLair is married to the former Miss Kathleen de Russy of Arlington, Va. Mrs. DeLair received a bachelor of arts degree in art from the College of St. Elizabeth, and for the past four years has served as teacher and art supervisor in the Fairfax County, Va. School System. Mrs. DeLair will teach the fourth grade at the Petrova School next fall.
Mr. and Mrs. DeLair will make their home at 71 Bloomingdale Avenue, Saranac Lake.
