Born: January 5, 1815 in Washington County, New York or Vermont, the son of Abijah Perigo or Perrigo and Olive Writt or Wright

Died: June 4, 1896

Married: Clarissa Fairbanks

Children: Benjamin F. Perrigo, George W. Perrigo, Mary E. Perrigo, Julia H. Perrigo, Ellen Perrigo

In the 1860 US Census Erwin Fairbanks, a nephew was living with the family.

In 1861 Royal was an inspector of election and had a $4.50 claim approved by the Town of Franklin.
