Ruby O. Kent
Mrs. Ruby O. Kent, widow of Israel Kent, died Tuesday afternoon at Saranac Lake General Hospital at the age of 72. She had lived in Vermontville.
Mrs. Kent was born May 6, 1895 in Merrillsville, a daughter of Grant and Ella Dyer Cochran.
Survivors are a brother, Noble Cochran of Morrisville, Pa.; a sister, Mrs. Mary Dyer of Vermontville; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call, beginning this evening, at the Fortune Funeral Home. The funeral will be at 10 a. m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Blair McKim, pastor of the Vermontville Church of the Nazarene, and the Rev. Sang-Hyun Hahn, pastor of the Bloomingdale Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Merrillsville Cemetery.
