Sarah Eleanor Malbone Miller was the wife of Van Buren Miller. She lived to be 100 years old, outliving four of her children.

Mrs. Sarah Miller Feted by Friends; Gov. Smith Sends Word
A host of friends from far and near showered Mrs. Sarah E. Miller of Saranac Lake with congratulations on the attainment of her one hundredth year at her home Tuesday, Nov. 13th.
The occasion, which marked the reaching of a 100th milestone in a remarkable life, was a day of great festivity at the Miller home, which is known as the oldest standing dwelling in Saranac Lake. The rooms were banked with flowers of many kinds and every corner of the house was brightened by the beautiful decorations.
Gifts and telegrams were received in large numbers, among the latter being a personal message of congratulation from Governor Alfred E. Smith.
The family of Mrs. Miller has been prominent in the affairs of that section for over a hundred years. Her one hundredth birthday has been the object of widespread comment in the press.
Born at Wilmington, Essex county, November 13, 1828, Mrs. Miller is a true daughter of the Adirondacks and her life has been that of the highest type of American womanhood in its devotion to the family group and to friends; at all times unpretentious in manner but gifted with the charm of personality that makes others happier.
