Selenia G. Sampson
Mrs. Selenia Grace Sampson, widow of Dr. Homer L. Sampson, died Tuesday, morning at Uihlein. Mercy Center at the age of 88. She had made her home at 48 Old Military Rd., Saranac Lake.
Mrs. Sampson was born Sept. 15, 1880 in New York City, a daughter of John and Selenia Watson Byrne. She was married to Dr. Sampson in October of 1908, in New York City.
Survivors are: two daughters, Mrs. George (Mary) MacIntyre of Saranac Lake and Mrs. Thomas (Rebecca) Kirk of East Lansing, Mich.; and five grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Fortune Funeral Home. The funeral will be at 10 a. m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Lawrence F. Selig , pastor of the Presbyterian Church, officiating. Interment will be in St. John's-in-the- Wilderness Church Cemetery in Paul Smiths.
Her family requests that those wishing to remember Mrs. Sampson make contributions in her memory to Uihlein Mercy Center.
