Thomas F. Reilly was my maternal grandfather. He was born on July 12, 1915. He was the son of Irish immigrant father, Thomas Patrick Reilly and Mary Harte. He lived in Queens, NYC. Thomas had TB. His sister Elizabeth also had TB, but she was in St. Anthony's TB Hospital in Woodhaven, Queens, NYC. Thomas F. Reilly came to Saranac Lake about 1949. His wife was Shirley Helen Liljestrand. He was the father of four children: Sharon Elizabeth Reilly, born 1942, Thomas Patrick Reilly, b. 1943, Maureen Katherine Reilly, b. 1944 & Dennis Reilly b. 1945. Thomas was a police department clerk and also a conservationist in Saranac Lake. He stayed in Saranac Lake until he died in 1969 at the age of 53.
