Titus Potter
Titus Potter, 71, a life-long resident of Saranac Lake, died Thursday at the Highland Nursing Home in Massena after a long illness.
Mr. Potter had been a well known piano player in the area and had played for dances and in the Pontiac Theatre. He was associated with the Potter Block, 81 Broadway, for many years. His wife, the former Zada Mullen, is deceased. Mr. Potter was born Sept. 28, 1897 in Saranac Lake, a son of George and Katherine Brown Potter.
Friends may call at the Fortune Funeral Home beginning this evening. The funeral service will be at 2:30 p. m. Sunday at the funeral home with the pastor of the Methodist Church, the Rev. Daniel Partridge, officiating. Burial will be in May in Pine Ridge Cemetery.
