Fuller, Smith Form Company

Wendell F. Fuller and H. A. (Skip) Smith, both of Saranac Lake, today announced the formation of Tri-Lake Home Improvements, Inc., with offices and showrooms at 56 Broadway.

According to Fuller, president of the new firm, "Tri-Lake will provide a complete interior and exterior— home, camp or business remodeling service. We are equipped, experienced and organized to create plans and designs for customers, supervise all work, and carry plans through to completion with a written guarantee on workmanship and materials."

The new firm also will represent the full lines of nationally known manufacturers of carpeting, floor and ceiling tile, floors, windows, panelling, siding materials, roofing, cabinetry and home fixtures. "Our customers will be able to select materials, colors and styles from actual samples and displays instead of from photographs in catalogs." Smith said.

The grand opening celebration on Feb. 29, March 1 and 2 will feature the new showrooms on Broadway, product displays and technical representatives from firms connected with Tri-Lake.

Refreshments will be served each day of the opening celebration from 9 a. m. to 5 p. m. Door prizes will be awarded among those who visit the new showrooms and register during the three-day event.

Fuller, operated Fullers Home Modernization in the Tri-Lake area for nine years prior to forming this new company. He is second vice-president of the Saranac Lake Lions Club. He and his wife, the former Patricia Jinks of Leicester, England and their seven children reside at 298 Broadway.

Smith is vice-president of Tri-Lake Home Improvements, severing his connections with Adirondack Associates, local floor covering firm. For seven years he was associated with the wholesale sales of floor covering materials. Smith and his wife the former Frinda Auringer of Syracuse, and their four children live at 9 St. Bernard Street.
