Walter H. Malone
Walter H. (Bud) Malone, a native of Saranac Lake, died Monday at the Veterans Hospital in Washington D. C.
He was a management analyst with the United States Tax Department and lived in Arlington, Va.
Mr. Malone graduated from Saranac Lake High School in 1931 and also from Manhattan College, Duke University and Georgetown Law School. He served In the Army in World War II as a first lieutenant.
He was born June 26, 1912 in Saranac Lake, a son of Richard and Marly Howard Malone. His wife, Alberta, and a daughter Kathleen H., survive. Friends may call at the Fortune Funeral Home, beginning Friday. A Rosary Service will be held at 8 p. m. Friday. A Roman Catholic Funeral Mass will be offered at 10 a. m. Saturday at the Methodist Church. Burial will be in St. Paul's Cemetery in Bloomingdale.
