Chiefly known for: Walter Herron played football for the Red and White. A mimeographed SPORT SUPPLEMENT (football) apparently from 1927 — also marked BEAT MALONE — describes Walter Herron, Halfback or End: "'Wally' is the lightest man on the squad but due to his great fighting spirit he became a regular. He is a good tackler and not many got around his end. When in the backfield, he hit the line like a veteran. Being a junior, 'Wally' is a bright prospect for next year's team."

A handwritten note adds: "1927 Football team won Adirondack Championship. Lost to Malone 18 Saranac 7 (by Kunz)." 1
