SARANAC LAKE - Wesley Martin, 75, formerly of Broadway, died at the St. Regis Nursing Home in Massena.
He had owned and operated an antiques repair shop and had retired in 1960. He was born in Saranac Lake, a son of Charles and Harriet Whitman Martin and lived here most of his life.
Survivors are: his wife, Eva Collins Martin, a son, Charles W. of Dayton, Ohio; three daughters, Mrs. Hugh (Elizabeth) Sutphen of Glens Falls, Muriel Martin of Schenectady, Mrs. Merle (Marjorie) LaDue of Lake Clear; and a brother, Harold of Saranac Lake; two sisters, Mrs. Caroline Bair of Florida and Mrs. Eula Raffi of New York City; 13 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Fortune Funeral Home Tuesday afternoon and evening. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 1:30 p.m., Wednesday. Interment will be in Pine Ridge Cemetery.
