William Earl Labounty was a farmer. He sold his farm, now known as Crystal Spring Dairy, to the Donnelly family.

In 1953 and at the time of his death he was living at 39 1/2 Bloomingdale Avenue.

The 1900 Census states William is a servant (a teamster) of Ferd Chase, which would be the Loon Lake House

Obituaries

William LaBounty

William E. LaBounty, 89, a life-long resident of this area, died last evening at the Saranac Lake General Hospital where he had been taken the day before.

Mr. LaBounty had been a dairy farmer and sold his farm, now known as Crystal Spring Dairy, to the Donnelly family. He was born Aug. 29, 1875 in the Town of Harrietstown, a son of Alexis and Mary Scaff La Bounty.

Survivors are his wife, the former Victoria McKee; a son, William of Saranac Lake; a granddaughter, Priscilla Anderson of East Orange, N. J.; and a great-grandson.

Friends may call at the Fortune Funeral Home. The Rev. Peter O. W. Hill, rector of the Church of St. Luke, the Beloved Physician, will conduct a funeral service at the church at 11 a. m. Saturday. Burial will be in the Harrietstown Cemetery.
