William Harvey was a World War I veteran; his grave in St. Bernard's Cemetery is marked "PFC Co. B. 301 Supply TN New York."

Confusingly, he is listed as "William Harvey Jr." of Saranac Lake in Essex County's Honor Roll of those serving in the World War of 1917-18.

A Requiem High Mass for the repose of his soul will he offered at 9 a. m. Monday at St. Bernard's Church for William L. Harvey, of 59 Broadway, Saranac Lake, who died Wednesday at the Albany Veterans Hospital. Burial will be in St. Bernard's Cemetery.

Friends may call from 7 to 10 o'clock tonight and 2 to 4 and 7 to 10 p. m. Saturday at the Keough and Son Funeral Home where the Rosary will be said at 8 p. m. Sunday.

Mr. Harvey was born in Saranac Lake on May 22, 1894, a, son of William L. and Saphrona Harvey. He was a World War I veteran with service in the Army.

Survivors are his wife, the former Ida Wilkins; two sons, William L. Jr. and Charles C. of Saranac Lake; two daughters, Mrs. Lillian M. Woodard of Saranac Lake and Mrs. Geraldine Esopa of Brooklyn; two stepsons, Monroe A. Flagg and Moreland L. Flagg of Saranac Lake; a step-daughter, Mrs. Mildred Washman of Colorado; 15 grandchildren; eight great-children; one sister, Mrs. Mabel Clary of Union Spring; and three brothers, Milford, Leon and Wilder, all of Saranac Like.

SERVICE FOR MR. HARVEY

A Funeral Mass was offered Monday morning for William Harvey at St. Bernard's Church. Pallbearers were Charles Woodard, Mose Foster, Robert Swain, Carl Bray, Harold Wilkins and Lloyd Landry.
