"This guideboat demonstrates all of the construction characteristics typical of a William Vassar built guideboat including a full supporting piece under his well- known strip deck models, his characteristic "half-moon" stem posts; and his stern, pointed up at the middle of the 5th strake scribe rib, with ledge, (to support the stern seat cleat). Vasser built 100+ guideboats."
