Culcom is a language-exchange cafe. It is free for English speakers who wish to learn Korean (and exchange English).

1. Free of charge : There is no charge for foreigners including studying, drinking beer or coffee, and making friends. We mainly provide English, Korean, Spanish, and Chinese language exchange services, and for other languages, it depends on the situation at the branch. Please contact the branch you are close to. 

2. Learning Korean conversation : We match you with a Korean language exchange partner who will teach you Korean for the long term. We don’t randomly change the partner for your progress in learning Korean conversation skills. 

3. Supportive guidelines for Learning : We have been running this business for 16 years. We support various study methods at different levels.

4. Convenient Location : 

Culcom is located in Shinchon, Jongro and Sillim in Seoul, Ilsan, Bupyong in Incheon, and Seomyeon in Busan. All the branches are close to the subway station and the center is operated on its own, so you can visit anytime.

5. Second home for anyone :As a language exchange cafe, we are equipped with study materials, board games, game consoles, and drinks at each branch in a comfortable atmosphere. You can come and study with anyone and make friends anytime.

• You can also skip all this and just show up at the cafe to register. Regardless of whether or not you filled out the online form or emailed Danny, you will have to repeat the process on a paper application.

Level Test

You show up and take a casual language test, which consists of Danny asking you some verbal questions in Korean, and reading something in Korean. You are then paired with a language exchange partner.

The level tests are done at these times:

• 12:00
• 18:00
• 18:30
• 19:00
• 20:30

*Culcom is closed on Fridays, and weekends after 3 pm.

Directions

From Bupyeong Station, take Exit 26. Upon exiting the stairs, take a U-turn. Turn right at the first corner, and then turn right into the first alley/elevator area. Take the elevator or stairs to the 6th floor.
