SaurikIT is a business owned by a UCSB alumnus, with an office on the second floor above Bagel Cafe and International Food Market. The office also hosts community meetings and is a coworking/studying space for some friends (it has hosted various startups at various times). It's the home of IV is a City, a project started by the owner of SaurikIT.

The work that SaurikIT is most known for is Cydia, the alternative to the App Store used on jailbroken iPhones, iPads, and iPods. They claim to do technology licensing; in practice, they make money doing payment processing but spend all of their time doing community management.

The second floor door layout is a little confusing, so people headed to Miss Behavin' sometimes accidentally walk into the SaurikIT office and get very confused for a moment.

The Christmas lights hanging in the windows have probably been on since December 2009 except for during power outages.
