Madeline's Restaurant, also known as Madeline Patisserie, is a full service upscale restaurant, but you wouldn't know it from the comments by local Ithacans, because many people only come here for dessert. They are pretty consistently considered the best desert place in Ithaca.

2009-03-28 02:15:53   I loved their cheese cake, light and fluffy, and the perfect balance between tart and sweet. It might just be the best cheese cake I have ever had. Their Bourbon chocolate cake is also very good, but extremely rich. I was not impressed by their Tiramisu, which was too creamy and did not have enough brandy flavor. Its almost like they cut the ricotta with whip cream. Overall the desserts were quite good. —MattHh
