Northeast Pizza & Beer Co, also known as the Scale House, is an American style pizza restaurant near the Triphammer Mall. This means their pizza features a medium to thick crust covered with lots of cheese. It is one of only a select few pizza places receiving a 10/10 rating at IthacaPizzaReview, and is generally considered to be the top of the line when it comes to American style pizza in Ithaca. They also serve other Italian items as well, like calzones, heroes and pasta. Home brewed beer and old time arcade machines round out a fun and charming eating experience.

2009-07-30 21:36:34   This is the best American style pizza in Ithaca. Its quite salty, but i like that. The sauce is zesty and the cheese is browned perfectly. Since its right next to Ithaca Tofu Company you can order your pizza, pick up your Asian groceries, and have a hot pizza ready for you when your done. As far as what I ordered, I got the Thursday special, a jumbo one topping pizza for $12.99, which I chose peppers for. The pizza was great, but the peppers weren't sweet enough, perhaps because they use a mix of green and red, instead of just red. Another time I visited I tried the Saturday special, a large pizza and 12 wings for 16.99. The wings were the best I had in a long time. I also really like their home brewed red ale beer. —MattHh

2010-04-30 19:12:24   The pizza with the works has big chunks of meat and veggies (so you can easily pick off the ones you don't like) on it, and hot peppers, giving it an unexpected kick over the usual. The wings are amazing - crispy and coated in traditional Buffalo sauce, not some trendy gourmet stuff. Prices are great, and service was attentive and quick. Not fancy, but tasty! —24.58.20.120
