Old Teahouse is a Tea joint. They specialize in boba drinks, (also known as bubble drinks, tapioca drinks, or pearl drinks) which are basically tea, slushies, coffees, or juices that are served with sweet tapioca balls inside. The most popular drink is the Thai ice tea with boba. This is a small family operated chain that has locations within a mile of UC Berkeley, UC Davis, Cornell, and New York State University. Rumor says that the owner opens up a shop where ever one of his kids to go to college.

2009-05-22 11:16:45   This is really the only place I've been to that does even adequate tapioca/boba drinks in Ithaca. Cafe Pacific does boba as well, but they are not nearly as good. I especially like the Old Tea house's pink grapefruit crush and many of their tea drinks. —MattHh
