Sarah's Patisserie is the brain child of Chef Tammy Travis who is a graduate of the French Culinary Institute in New York City. In the pastry program, she worked with Jacques Torres, the dean of the school, and he taught her a passion for the art of chocolate making. After graduation, Jacques Torres emplyed Chef Travis as his pastry assistant at Le Cirque 2000 from 1999 to 2000. Le Cirque is a four star French restaurant located on Madison Avenue, in New York City.
