Unexpected Farm is a farm that sells vegetables at Ithaca Farmer's Market. They are the only farm in the market that specializes in Certified Veganic produce. This goes even further than organic growing and means that all their products are produced without the use of chemical pesticides, herbicides or fertilizers; genetically-modified seeds; or animal products (such as blood meal, bone meal, fish emulsion and manure). In addition only a small portion of their 65 acres is farmed, leaving most of the property as natural habitat for wildlife.

Vegetables sold (during their respected seasons): artichokes, asparagus, beets, broccoli, cabbage, collards, garlic, green beans, scallions, kale, leeks, lettuce, onions, peas, potatoes, summer squash, sweet peppers, Swiss chard, tomatoes, winter squash, zucchini.
