- After our experiences with baseball helmets...a real hockey helmet was my first purchase for broomball....don't know if it was a gift for the son or the mother smile emoticon
- HELMET!!! my Daughter got hit it the side of the face and she was wearing an old hockey helmet....she quickly upgraded!
- For you hockey parents, when my son was a first year, he didn't think he wanted to play broomball, I am guessing he thought it was a bunch of hockey-player wannabes? Not sure. Anyway, he joined a team that year and they ended up taking 3rd place. This year, his 4th year, they took 2nd overall. There are around 240 teams in the league, including many hockey players. The club hockey team, under the name Pirate Sheep, usually wins the league every year. So encourage your skaters to play!
