The Undergraduate Student Government has chartered a bus in the past for extended breaks (not Winter Carnival). It has filled quickly. If you are interested in having your student ride this charter bus, you will need to have him/her check campus email for an announcement that lists the date ticket sales start, and a link to buy tickets.
Tickets for winter break 2018-2019 were $100 each, plus about $8 service fee. Within an hour of the site opening 11/19/2018, only 26 tickets remained, so if you want to utilize this mode of transportation you will have to be ready to access the site and act quickly.
