On Friday, July 13, 2012, Cruising on King Street takes you back in time when life was simple - and simply fun.

Featuring more than 300 vintage and classic cars, you'll see all makes and models, styles and colours - all decked out in shiny chrome bumpers, whitewall tires and frames that have withstood the test of time.

With a backdrop of tunes from the 50s and '60s, plus wandering entertainment along the street, this free event is fun for the whole family.

And while you're downtown, be sure to browse and shop at the many unique stores that line the street - or grab a bite at one of the 100-plus restaurants, offering an abundance of delicious flavours to savour.

Cruising on King Street Schedule:

Show and Shine at Victoria Park from 3-7 p.m.

Victoria Park is transformed to a staging area for approximately 300 classic and antique cars in preparation for the Cruise! Chat with car owners and enjoy the park.

The Cruise on King Street from 7-8 p.m.

The largest parade of its kind in Ontario! The parade route on King Street extends from Francis to Sterling.

Car Show on King Street from 8-10 p.m.

Once the cars are parked, stroll down King Street from Francis to Cedar for a blast from the past! 300+ car owners show off their pride and job to festival goers!
