North Main Street is one of the streets in Los Angels Metro.

In 1916, Japanese-American businessman Takejiro Kusanagi invested $55,000 to buy land and a house along the street, and moved his grocery and kimono store from Pasadena. (1)

After that, prices soared, and the land and houses in the area were bought by the Bank of Italy for $175,000. (1)
