Palms Cycle is the oldest bicycle shop in Los Angeles. It was founded in 1930 and has been in the same location in Palms since.[1] In 1964, the store was taken over by the Rancier family. Cap Rancier and his daughter Candace — the third generation of Ranciers at Palms Cycle — currently run the operation.

They sell new bikes, restore old bikes, sell parts, clothing and just about anything else bike-related you can think of. They offer powdercoating, full custom builds and carry parts for old Schwinn bikes.

It would appear that Palms Cycle suddenly went out of business in February 2018 after 88 years in business.
